Psychiatry
“Thus the task is, not so much to see what no one has seen yet, but to think what nobody has thought yet, about what every body sees”

My practice of psychiatry is informed by the following ideas. First, I believe that good psychiatry begins with the formation of a relationship. And this cannot happen in one or two visits. Second, my purpose is to listen and learn and together develop an understanding of how best to address a problem, concern, or mental illness. Finally, I believe good psychiatry begins with an understanding of how the brain, mind, and body relate. I do not believe that I can work on your body, alone, or your brain, alone. Or your mind, alone.
